American Contemporary Ceramics was created as an online gallery space for American ceramic artists and ceramic artists working at American kilns. The gallery’s mission is to present ceramic art that is not bound by concepts of craft or function and that explores the range of sculptural forms and individual visions sought by contemporary collectors.
The work of the artists in our gallery is shown in galleries throughout the world and is often available only to collectors who have the means or good fortune to attend the shows. Our gallery will present ceramic art of exceptional quality by established and emerging artists to a broad audience of collectors who can acquire these works as they become available.
The gallery will be updating the works available for purchase on an ongoing basis and will put on larger exhibitions devoted to individual artists. We will also provide information and a blog on events and topics of interest to collectors.
Since artists explore a form or creative direction quite extensively, there often are additional pieces that share a particular aesthetic. If you have a specific interest in a piece that is unavailable, contact us and when we visit an artist’s kiln to select work for the gallery we can look for something that fits your interest.
