The Museum of Ceramic Art / New York, (MOCA/NY), “founded to advance the appreciation, understanding, and enjoyment of ceramics through exhibitions, hands-on experience, research, education, and scholarship” has launched its website. While MOCA/NY is looking for a permanent bricks-and-mortar location, the website will function as a “virtual museum”. At this point, the site is a beginning and offers a peek at some of the promise that the founders hope will come to pass. You should visit, offer support and feedback so this work in progress can develop into a valuable resource.
