Tim Rowan has a few opportunities to see and enjoy his wonderfully strong sculptural work.

If you’re up for a trip to upstate New York this weekend (Oct0ber 10-11), Tim is having an Open Studio. Make a day of it; the leaves should be reaching their peak of color and you can get a great meal at Depuy Canal House. It’s especially nice to see Tim’s work in and around his studio and kiln on his wooded acres.

There is also a show coming up at Calvin-Morris Gallery in New York City. The show runs from October 22 to November 28, 2009. Check the gallery website for any opening event and hours for the gallery. Calvin-Morris shows the work of several ceramic artists including Jeff Shapiro and Japanese artists Ryoji Koie, the Tsujimura Kai and Yuichi and Ken Mihara among others. They also rep several interesting primitive and Asian artists.

To round things out, Tim’s work will be at the Lacoste Gallery Booth at SOFA/Chicago from November 6-8, 2009.
